Traditionally the Royal College of Defence Studies visits Russia in October each year as part of their North and Eastern Europe Tour. During their week in Russia, the group receives briefings in Moscow from Embassy staff, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Duma Defence Committee, and EMERCOM. They also talk to representatives of political parties and take part in visits outside Moscow.
